The Clowning Around Town Preview Gala at the Van Wezel on September 22, 2006 was the coming-out party for
Princess Cliffagret Calliroles,
our clown so perfectly designed by artist Sandy Butler and sponsored by my friend Margaret Callihan and myself. The Princess had pride of place at the Gala and was admired by all, and she is looking forward to taking her position on Main Street until May 2007!

I was lucky enough to be invited by Laurence Parry to a reception for the patron of Sarasota International Cricket Club, Richie Benaud. It was a great honor to meet and interview a living legend - the voice of cricket and the doyen of cricket commentators. 248 Test wickets and 2,201 runs from 63 Tests playing for Australia, and then a 42-year career commentating in England!
